We, the Fairborn church of Christ, are simply a congregation made up of people who have been saved by Jesus Christ. Individually and congregationally, we are committed to following His teachings, with love as our motive. We strive to pattern our congregation after the churches founded in the 1st century that we read about in the bible, rather than align with any modern-day religious organizations. We do this by paying careful attention to the New Testament scriptures with the bible for our authority, desiring to have fellowship with God and one another. This includes the way we worship God, the way our church is organized, the way we collect and use funding, and how we fulfill God’s mission as His children. Our purpose is to glorify God and make disciples. By engaging in such a ministry, we simply call ourselves “Christians”. We hope you will see that our congregation’s activities strongly resemble the approved churches you can read about in the New Testament.
The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God, giving Him our worship and receiving His blessing and inspiration. We hope you experience spiritual refreshment when you worship with us.
Studying the bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but also guides us spiritually. We believe and accept it as God’s Word, a book that is alive and relevant to life today, which expresses our need for salvation.
Every person at every age level is invited and encouraged to participate in bible classes. We also
strive to be together as much as possible outside the worship service.
Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship. That’s why we make it a priority to build lasting bonds with our church family members. We would love to welcome you into our circle of care.
Just as Jesus came “not to be ministered unto, but to minister...” we accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others. This applies within the church family and outside our fellowship.
If you are in the Fairborn, Ohio area, we invite you to come and worship with us! You may also reach out to us with your spiritual questions HERE.
“...grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory
both now and forever! Amen.” - 2 Peter 3:18
